But Sarita's real value and expertise is actually buying a home. She helped us figure out the right price of an initial offer on our home in a highly-competitive bidding situation. She also helped us craft an offer with creative extras that ultimately pushed our offer to the top after multiple rounds of bidding. The fact that she worked hard to establish a rapport with the seller's agent also helped immensely during this process and in escrow.
Once we got into escrow, Sarita switched modes to get us maximum credits. She coordinated hiring all of the inspectors and got them scheduled right away. We then used the reports and the information provided in the seller's disclosures to get a significant reduction off the offer price.
On the final walkthrough, Sarita video taped the entire property to ensure we had a good record once the seller's leaseback ended. It was a great idea.
Aside from her extensive talent and experience, as described above, Sarita also has an intangible that is essential in any service industry: client management. Buying a home is emotional, and no matter how smart you think you are, your judgment as a buyer can get clouded. Sarita understands that are did a fantastic job managing my emotions and making sure the Sellers were only presented with a positive and measured message. She got this deal done, even when it seemed at times like the parties might walk away.
I cannot recommend Sarita highly enough. She is good at her job, has outstanding people skills, and is a great person. And you may cost yourself tens of thousands of dollars if you go with someone else. When you are about to spend your life savings on a house, you need the best representing your interests.
